Yarrow is used to counter diarrhoea and dysentery and to relieve intestinal troubles. The ingredients in yarrow promote blood coagulate and also regulates menstrual periods and acts as a diuretic to aid the function of the liver, gallbladder and kidneys.
Lady's mantle is a well known herb for strengthening the uterus in women who are likely to miscarry. It also helps to control heavy menstrual bleeding. As a tea it is a tonic to the womb and associated tissues so that problems with painful or heavy periods and the changes that come with menopause are eased.
Hot infusion
Preparing a hot infusion womens tea blend requires several steps.
(1) Fill one tea infuser full of the womens tea blend herbs.
(2) Pour one cup of boiling water over the herbs.
(3) Cover the cup to ensure all the volatile oils & aromas in the womens tea herbs do not escape.
(4) Allow the herbs to infuse for 3-5 minutes, then sip
