Active Ingredients: Phytochenicals: Azulene, beta-carotene, beta-ionone, beta-sitosterol, borneol, bornyl acetate, caryophyllene, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, isovaleric acid, limolene, kaempferol, p-coumaric acid, quercetin, valepotriates, valerenone, valerenic acid, valeric acid.
Nutrients: Calcium, choline, essential fatty acids, iron, mangenese, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, zinc, vitamins B1, B2, B3,and C.

Valerian herb has been used to aid in sleep disorders, restlessness, anxiety and as a muscle relaxer. As well as a popular herb for insomnia it has also been said to be usefull for stomach ailments such as IBD, although there have been no long term studies in regards to its effectiveness.

Hot infusion

Preparing a hot infusion valerian tea requires several steps.

(1) Fill one tea infuser full of the valerian tea herbs.

(2) Pour one cup of boiling water over the herbs.

(3) Cover the cup to ensure all the volatile oils & aromas in the valerian tea herbs do not escape.

(4) Allow the herbs to infuse for 3-5 minutes, then sip
