Nettle tea is used as an excellent blood cleanser. It also has anti - inflammatory agents. It is used widely throughout the world and because of its high content of calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium and vitamins it is recommended as a blood cleanser and is used too treat many blood disorders.

Also nettle has been claimed to be beneficial for hay fever, kidney problems, enlarged prostate, arthritis, anemia and to help stimulate hair follicles. CAUTION: It should not be used by women who are pregnant or breast feeding.

Hot infusion

Preparing a hot infusion nettle tea requires several steps.

(1) Fill one tea infuser full of the nettle tea herbs.

(2) Pour one cup of boiling water over the herbs.

(3) Cover the cup to ensure all the volatile oils & aromas in the herbs do not escape.

(4) Allow the herbs to infuse for 3-5 minutes, then sip
