As well as being the sweetest tasting herb Lemon Balm is also a great herb for stress. It is particularly good for indigestion where anxiety and tension play a part. As well as stimulating circulation making it a good herb to calm tension it can also be used for problems such as irritable bowel and stomach ulcers. The crushed leaves, when rubbed on the skin, are used as a repellent for mosquitoes. Caution: This herb should not be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.

Hot infusion

Preparing a hot infusion lemon balm tea requires several steps.

(1) Fill one tea infuser full of the lemon balm tea herbs.

(2) Pour one cup of boiling water over the herbs.

(3) Cover the cup to ensure all the volatile oils & aromas in the lemon balm tea herbs do not escape.

(4) Allow the herbs to infuse for 3-5 minutes, then sip
